Management Retreat was held

Improvement Teams are working to improve communications, morale
and sense of urgency.
- Several Value Stream
Mapping sessions were held.
- Initiatives were
developed in Scheduling, TPM, Metrics, Rework and 5S.
- Outside Vendors
negotiations and improvements were conducted.
The Results:
- The Turn Around
Time decreased from an average of 58 days to 18 days.
- Outside VendorsŐ
Turn Around Time improved by 15 days, or better than 50%.
- New Shop Layouts
were implemented.
- Short interval
scheduling is improving cycle times by 10% to 25%
- Outside VendorsŐ
cost improvements of 60% have been realized.
- Reworks are down
to 4% and continue to improve.
